INJECTION MOLDING
We love manufacturing. And we take it seriously.
Our existing customers range from small to large, but they all want the same thing. A strong partner to assist with the design, tooling, production, and maintenance of their product.
With up to 530t capacity, our range of machines are capable of injection molding a wide range of sizes, from simple single cavity molds to large multi-cavity molds, and even those featuring electric or hydraulic retracting cores, or over-molding of other materials.
We are proficient at molding in a large variety of materials, including:
- ABS
- ASA
- Flexible Styrene
- High Impact Styrene
- Nylon, including Glass Reinforced Nylon
- Polycarbonate
- Polyethylene
- Polypropylene
- Rubber (TPR and TPV)
Our team of Machine Operators work to ensure that product quality, material shot size, operating temperatures, and cycle times are optimized to provide the best quality at the best value at all times.
RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT AND DESIGN
Your products journey may begin with a simple idea you have in your mind, or a scribble on a piece of paper, but A C Plastics Team can transform your company’s existing concept into a finished product.
We can take it from simple sketches to a fully realized CADCAM design, and upon approval, the final design is ready to move onto the toolmaking and machining stage.
Because we have the ability to design, provide prototype parts, and run production in-house, it allows us to get to work on your parts and control the process from start to finish. Therefore, you benefit from the lowest costs and fastest lead times to deliver your plastic injection molded products.
We can build a diverse assortment of molds, from small, single-cavity prototypes to multi-cavity, high-production molds. Our experience allows us to create molds for a variety of materials used by our customers.
TOOLMAKING, MACHINING, AND SURFACE FINISHING.
Our team know how the Injection Molding process works, so we know how to create the tooling to get your parts molded to perform precisely how they are designed.
Our in-house machining means we are involved every step of the way, and in control of quality at all times.
With milling, lathing, surface grinding, shot-peening and spark-eroding capabilities, we ensure that your product is within the desired dimensions, with the desired finish.
MOLD AND DIE MAINTENANCE
All molds kept in-house are maintained and serviced at regular intervals by our team to ensure maximum mold health at all times. This goes beyond just simple mold surface cleaning.
Our team ensures that all mold surfaces, waterways, die-block components, guide and ejector pins, and anything thing else that may need attention is thoroughly inspected for defects, cleaned, lubricated, aligned, and assembled correctly before and after a production run so your mold stays in as good as new condition.
ASSEMBLY AND DECORATION
If your part needs secondary operations following the injection molding process, our team can offer mechanical assembly and packaging, as well as thermal and adhesive printing.
From simple bagging or boxing to more complex component assembly, as well as fit-out of electrical components, our team can make sure that your product gets to you completed and fit for purpose.
LONG RUN 2 AXIS CNC LATHE
If you need Brass, Aluminium, Mild or Stainless Steel parts mass produced with consistency, our CNC Lathe is equipped with bar feeders for automated production capability. We can produce parts from Round stock with sizes from 6.35mm (1/4″) to 38mm (1-1/2″) or Hex stock with sizes from 9.5mm (3/8″) to 32mm (1-1/4″)
